USD 230 will continue to distribute free meals to Optional Remote Learning students through the end of the semester. On-site students will automatically receive free breakfast and lunch meals at school (see below).

*One important note, over the summer we had community members register for meals, but not pick them up. Our district does not get reimbursed for meals if they are not distributed to a child and recorded by name. We are pleased to offer this program, however, we need our participants to register AND pick up their meals each week.

What you need to know for Optional Remote Students:
Optional remote and remote students MUST be registered for meals before distribution day. REGISTER HERE - The registration form closes at 7 pm on Sunday.

A new registration form will be available the afternoon of distribution day to sign-up for the next week. We will share reminders to register by social media.

All meals for optional remote and remote students will be provided on Wednesdays at Spring Hill High School, Spring Hill Middle School, and Woodland Spring Middle School 11- noon - new time starting 12/2.

All meals for the week will be distributed on one day.

Please stay in your vehicle, and when you pull up staff will take your student’s name and distribute the meals. To save time, please have your meal registration confirmation email on your phone screen to show staff.

Meals must be canceled by 9:00 am on distribution day by calling (913) 592-7283.

Please continue to apply for free and reduced meals in preparation for the end of this free program. Applications may be found at this link

What you need to know for On-Site Students:
