The Spring Hill School District curriculum for History, Government, and Social Studies (HGSS) follows the approved standards and recommendations from the Kansas State Board of Education which can be found at KSDE HGSS Standards. Our students are encouraged to engage in inquiry-based best practices in order to become informed, thoughtful, and engaged citizens. Neither our curriculum nor the KSDE HGSS Standards require the teaching of Critical Race Theory.
